I Just Ran My First Marathon With Type-1 Diabetes

Pisa Marathon 2023. 4:38 hours of running. Out of range for the first half (around 250, mainly due to the excitement), in range for the second half.

I will do a full recap of the race next week, today I just need to process my emotions. The only thing I can say is that this is the most beautiful thing I have done so far, and that diabetes was my best partner in all of this: the race and the process that led to it.

I feel like I have so much more mastery over it now. Type-1 diabetes is our best friend.

Km 40: fresh & in range!
